This place is great, friendly staff, great service. They always do their best to make you feel comfortable knowing that the dentists is the LAST place most people want to be. Dr. Helal and his staff are so professional and kind, they go above and beyond. Lupe is always warm and funny and always tried her best to be accommodating when you’re scheduling your appointment, Autumn always has a smile on her face, Dr. Helal is always professional, understanding, and does his best to make you feel comfortable, and Shana has this way about her that makes you feel relaxed sitting in the dentist chair. The staff has always treated me great, made me laugh, and put me at ease during every single visit, because let’s face it, going to the dentists office is usually not everyone’s favorite thing. I always recommend Crescentwood Dental to all my family and friends!

i have seen Dr. Helal for the past 5 years on a friends recommendation and I'm very pleased with the appointment availability, cost and complete explanation of all procedures being done! Lupe is very caring and helpfully, making sure that I understand what treatment stage we're in and also in assisting Dr. Helal. they work well together.

About Front Desk: Lupe is always cheerful, knows and greets all patients as if they're her family or friends! Enjoy seeing her there

I have been to see Dr. Helal several times, he and his manager Lupe work so well together. I have had several crowns and fillings replaced. I can smile without placing my handover my mouth. When insurance will not cover a procedure they work with me on not only the cost but payment as well. I have recommend several workers and family members to him, all have had the same experience. Most definitely will continue to refer to him

About Front Desk: lupe is great, she will work you in the same day if possible, works with me on insurance and payments.

About Hygienist: i needed a more involved cleaning and was able to have it done the same day!! The cleaning was pain free. And the importance of regular 6 months vs 1-2 for cleanings was explained. And not in a condoning way.

I was referred to Dr. Helal and he has done several procedures such as taking out my wisdom teeth that were impacted. I don't prefer going to the dentist but he made me feel comfortable and it didn't even hurt! He is an experienced dentist who treated me with kindness and care. I strongly recommend him and he has a pleasant staff.

On April 8, 2014 I went to Ibn Sina Community Dental Clinic in Houston, TX. I was seen by Dr Ramzey Helal for a tooth extraction. When he walked into the room he didn't even introduce himself and it appeared to me that he was more interested in obtaining more business from me by telling me that I needed 3 more teeth extracted and that I would have to come in to his private clinic: Crescentwood Dental in Sugar Land, TX. He was not focusing on the one tooth I came in originally to get extracted. I told him I didn't need the other teeth extracted for now and he seemed upset. The way he extracted my tooth seemed to me like he is very inexperienced. He was digging and pulling to try to get the one tooth out and eventually he had to drill it into many pieces! That was the only way he was finally able to extract my tooth, in many pieces! Finally when he was done torturing me he didn't even say anything he just left the exam room without telling me what to do as far as post-extraction care. I would also like to add that the tools he used were already out in the open so I don't know if they were even sterilized. Never take an appointment with this doctor, it will be the worst day of your life, trust me!

Dr. Helal could not be any better. He repaired messes I was left with from another Houston dentist. I never feel pain or discomfort while in his operatory. I've had root canals and fillings, mostly. Couple of crowns. Excellent, friendly staff. As a side note: He is a great human, extremely philanthropic as he donated lots of money to a library and scout house I renovated. His office walls are lined with all the teams he supports. I've known his family personally and they are upstanding, kind- hearted people and Ramzey is just an amazing human being. a great Christian man.

About Front Desk: The staff is friendly, courteous, helpful. Handle all the insurance matters. Best experiences the many times I've been. My entire family loves them all.

went in on a friends recommendation. he was very professional and attentive. he explained the procedures in detail with time frame start to finish, (and stayed on course) his chair side manner is always friendly, once my treatment was explained according to what my insurance would cover and he was informed that my insurance did NOT cover all the procedures recommended he worked up a discount for me! that was going the extra mile for me. and I was able to attain a beautiful smile !!

About Front Desk: Lupe has been with Dr. Helal for a very long time!!!!! she has a warm, caring personality. It is very nice to know that you are always able to speak to her or Elizabeth directly. She and Elizabeth make a great team, Elizabeth is always very happy and cheerful. They are always willing to accommodate his patients and very helpful with explaining your insurance benefits.

About Hygienist: Zoe, is the new girl, she is very soft spoken but gentle. her mannerism is a little shy but very thorough when explaining the procedures.

Dr. Helal and his staff are very friendly and welcoming. He is phenomenal in his knowledge of dentistry. Dr. Helal knows how to make the patient feel comfortable and at ease.

This doctor is young and inexperienced. I had a molar crown done by him a year ago and is painful ever since. he did not do a root canal and let the nerve alive and exposed inside. Terrible. He may be good for simple procedures as normal fillings, extractions etc. but I would not trust him with anything more complex. Stay away.

About Hygienist: Hygienist is good but you have to drain the saliva yourself.
