Dr. Kahan is by far the best dentist I have ever been to. He is always friendly, upbeat, professional, timely and caring. I can not imagine a better dental experience. His staff is also just as professional and nice as he is. He runs a great office and deserves his success. He is an ace with novacain--there is never any pain and his equipment is state of the art. He also gives excellent referrals for more complicated procedures.

Steven Kahan, DSS has the best track record for demonstrating mastery in the dental work he performs. For over 20 years my wife, children & myself have benefited from his superb dental work & total honesty. I strongly believe the options he gives us, are always based on what's good for my family, not whats good for his wallet.
He is the quintessential MENCH! Dr. Kahan once drove to his office from his home at 11:00 PM on a stormy Sunday night because my older son, in dreadful pain, had seriously sustained damage to several upper and lower teeth. Dr. Kahan could have sent us to an emergency room to deal with my sons pain, or said, come in early Monday morning and well take care of this. But that's not the way Dr. Kahan deals with people. His reputation for extraordinary dental work and a caring heart is well known throughout my neighborhood.
Some years back I needed two crowns. As Dr. Kahan was looking with the receptionist for the earliest possible appointment, he whispered in her ear, Don't charge Bob for at least six months for the work on his crowns because he was just telling me he lost a big contract, & I know he has huge expenses between college tuition for his sons and care for his 96 year old mother."

I have been going to Dr. Kahan since I moved to the are over 15 years ago and have never had a complaint. All the staff is extremely friendly and professional and all the dental work I have had done (check-ups, cleanings, x-rays, fillings) has been painless and problem-free. I never get the feeling that Dr. Kahan tries to pressure patients into getting unnecessary procedures, as seems to be the case with many other dentists. I have no reservations in recommending Dr. Kahan.

Dr Stephen Kahan and his staff are very caring and compassionate . Although Dr Kahan is not inexpensive,, when it comes to my teeth or my husband's we want the most educated and competent dentist that we can find .He and his staff are well mannered, polite and kind.. His hygienists are good. He has always been concerned about our comfort while undergoing any procedure.and will talk to you and explain procedures or dental options. His office is clean, he has tv"s mounted on the walls for patients to watch while undergoing procedures
If you need other dental work, or specialists, he has a network of other dentists that he will readily refer you to, and his staff will make the call for you. We found out that he regularly attends dental meetings ,classes,etc to keep up with the latest dental procedures. He is also available for emergencies.
We have always been so impressed with him and his whole office that we could never imagine going to another dentist. We really do love him. He is first class and everyone in the office tries their best to make you feel that way as well. There is a parking garage under the building which is very convenient .
