Read Reviews for Dr. Fadi Metri
came to Dr. Fadi, wearing temp dentures for far too long, at my wit's end when it came to making the transition to dentures. My first dentist had strung me along for 2 years for my perms.. dr. Fading assured me he could make me a pair and would take at most 5 weeks. Relief! The appointment before receiving the actual denture, he said he was going on vacation and that I could see his partner while he was out, or wait for him to come back. He made the decision for me, and I was scheduled to see dr. Fadi once he came back from vacation. Disappointed again, considering I've been waiting 2 years to get a pair(which is a Long time to begin with but even longer when you need teeth) but I remained patient knowing I'd have my pair once he came back. Or so I thought.
So fast forward a three weeks later, I'm excited to finally have a decent pair. I go in for my appointment, and cried when I saw what he was giving me for dentures. They were cheaply made, the molars were shaped distorted, they came new looking worn down, the shape and size of the teeth were warped and not in correlation with facial size at all, each tooth looked the same, no detail to what tooth it was- they all looked the same. The gums of the denture were shaped in a way that the majority of food I eat sticks to the denture gum- not the problem that some denture wearersbhave with food getting stuck- clumps of the food sticks to the denture. I cried so much, it was a very cruel joke what he did to me. Refer to the pictures. STAY AWAY FROM THIS CROOK, WITH A WARPED BRAIN TO INTENIONALLY GIVE ME THE UGLIEST, CHEAPEST DENTURES OUT THERE. EVERYONE DESERVES A BEAUTIFUL SMILE--- YOU WILL NOT FIND IT AT DR. FADI. I hope this post will prevent at least one person from being duped as bad as I was

Thoroughly professional, nothing to complain about, swift service but never felt hurried. When once there was a misunderstanding about a payment (insurance didn't cover it all), Dr. Metri cleared my bill without a second's hesitation. I had some routine procedures done over the years and a couple of crowns, all went well, and then a root canal done by a specialist who works in collaboration with Dr. Metri (can't remember his name), and that was an incredible experience - no pain whatsoever during or after the procedure (no need to take pain killers), and no inflammation.
About Hygienist: I had both wonderful and so-and-so experiences with different hygienists over the years. Actually, just one so-and-so, and she is getting better with time!

The overall experience at Dr. Metri's office was pleasant until after several attempts to numb my tooth were not very successful. I had never felt pain during a filling procedure before. Hopefully it was just a one time thing. The cleaning by the dental hygienist was very good.

The practice honors most dental insurance that other dentists won't......but are just as pressuring with billing as other dentist offices. Dr. Metri performed a couple of difficult crowns...painful....stressful and anxiety were felt.
One of the crowns kept on coming uncemented, very unhappy when Dr. Metri recommended an implant. Dr. Metri discovered my real tooth was cracked.
Dr. Metri is good about ER...but not about referrals......

If you think pain is no big deal...then this dentist is for you. They are not gentle at all. The staff in this office look at you and speak in their native language which can be unsettling for many people as it makes you think that they are talking about you. When you call for an appointment they leave you on hold and forget about you. When these issues are mentioned nothing is done because they are all related.

Too much need of rework on all types of procedures. Particularly bad with root canals.

1st visit, cleaning + full x-rays $200
Quoted me price of $100 per filling for several fillings.
Dr Metri promised high quality work, done by him.
2nd visit, Dr Metri busy. His assistant worked on my composite fillings. Very stressful experience. Pain. Got another shot of novocaine. Inside surface of tooth felt abrasive, he sanded it, still abrasive, he'll fix it next visit.
Charge: $125 per tooth ($25 greater than quoted price).
I concluded that the quality of the assistant dentist was poor. I now refuse to let him work on my teeth. I am now unhappy with this office, I am now ready to pick up my x-rays and find another dentist.
3rd visit, Dr Metri only. Better quality work, no pain. However, when i floss, an adjacent tooth gets hooked and stuck (perhaps he inadvertantly ground a tooth that he was not working on), now i have to get that fixed. Dr Metri polished the abrasive tooth, and did a fine job.
Price charged $125 per tooth ($25 greater than price quoted).
The $25 per tooth overcharge is adding up & not fair.
I feel that work done here is done too fast (see: adjacent tooth damage, above). Gut instinct is: fast patient turnover, for more profit. Result is too fast.
Considering new dentist.
