He has been my dentist forever. I have tried to go to some dentist on the plan I am on but I have come to realize that no one will compare to Dr Schmidt.

I have my teeth cleaned every four months. I have not had much done, only one cavity and that showed up when I was 50ish. So, the extent of my visits have been limited. Michelle, my hygienist, does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth and scolding me in a polite way for not flossing enough. Doctor Schmidt meets with me once a year and goes over the Xrays, etc. It is a quiet environment, one would observe the staff all getting along. I have never felt uncomfortable here, never nervous, nothing negative, it is ALL positive. I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt and his staff. I cannot comment on cost, my insurance pays for virtually everything, I think my extra cleaning runs about $70. It is all good.

About Hygienist: Michelle is excellent! Always right about an hour, very well mannered and gentle. I love it when I leave there!

My entire family started going to Dr. Schmidt's office about ten years ago. I never imagined I'd find a dentist (or staff) like him. His office is warm and home-like, not the typical dentist's office. His staff is usually always smiling, which I gather is because the work environment appears like everyone who works there is a tight-knit second family who cares about each other. Dr. Schmidt's dental techs are all fantastic, including with children. In his office, you will see many pictures displayed of Dr. Schmidt's travels to parts of the world where he donates his time and skill to help people who have no access to dental care. Dr. Schmidt is very humble about his extending his skills, and clearly the pictures are up more as a reminder to his patients that we are lucky to have these services and shouldn't take it for granted. I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt's dental office.

About Hygienist: When I first came to Dr. Schmidt's office, I hadn't been to a dentist in several years. I was very embarrassed and felt uncomfortable entering his office because I knew I shouldn't have lapsed with visits to a dentist. Michelle was my Hygienist. She made me feel very comfortable, eliminated my embarrassment, and got right to work caring for my teeth. She also showed me the temporary effects of not seeing a dentist, and then restored my teeth to perfect health. When she shared this with me, I immediately felt relieved that she cared so much because she spoke to me in a very thoughtful and concerned way. I always schedule with Michelle, but my family has seen all the different techs at Dr. Schmidt's office, and they are all wonderful.

The routine is to see the hygienist for cleanings, but the Dr. once a year for a check up. He is always polite, shakes my hand, asks how I'm doing then gets to work. I have not had to have much work done, only one cavity filled in 20 years, not bad, huh? but, I highly recommend Dr. Schmidt and his crew, it is virtually always a pleasant experience.

About Hygienist: Michelle is my hygienist, she is fantastic. Cleanings last about an hour. I go regularly, three times a year. My teeth always feel great when I'm finished.

Dr.Schmidt is the most wonderful, caring dentist I know. I had a dental emergency in the evening, around 8:30pm. I called him at HOME, and he told me to meet him at the office in 15 minutes. I don't know of any other dentist that would do that. He is HIGHLY recommended!
