No don't go - he is rude! See my family Dentist - referred us...never again! If you like a doctor to not answer your questions (as a parent) then you may like him. . First off he only has one exam room, probl 500 square foot ofice. What's that tell you? My son is 19- (he is on my policy and I completed the new patient registration form & I am in the exam room with my son) - we are in the same room speaking to him directly and asking him questions It was extremly RUDE of him to not answer me back. You are quick to file a claim to my insurance and take my credit card for payment...but speaking to me is beaneth you....well then you need to learn some manners!
In the year 2010 that is not how you treat your patients/ parents when you expect money from them. I could have been a potential patient of yours and referred you several more..but NO WAY - he is RUDE and has no Manners! You would have better luck, talking to a WALL - NO WAY - You making a mistake seeing this guy!

He is an excellent dentist. He made me feel comfortable and was efficient and careful. I was surprised at how little pain was involved. I would highly recommend Dr. Bernstein.

Fantastic Doc, no pain, HARVARD grad., quick, nice assistants, no wait, discounted plan fee--was cheep. Great office, fantastic views from floor to ceiling windows out 6th floor. What more can you ask for. Has been three years since my root canal--no problems.

This was not a favorable experience at all. Was referred by my dentist and it was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in a dental chair- and I have always liked going to the dentist! Getting the shots was extremely painful, and after having my dentist look at the x-rays, I was told it was a C- job at best! Be careful and do your research before ever going to get a root canal from someone you do not know. Maybe it was just me, but I hope others will not have as horrible as an experience as I did here, and have to pay a significant cost out of pocket to have this done and not turn out well.

No pain at all - had an absolutley wonderful experience. The dental assistant was great - very kind and understanding to my anxiety. The entire staff was very helpful!!!!

Dr. Bernstein saw me for what was to be a root canal. After having weeks of pain he tried to determine which tooth it was that needed the root canal. Since his methods were not conclusive, he simply asked me which tooth he wanted to get the root canal. I was shocked! How can you ask a patient to make that type of a decision. It was very traumatizing and after he temporarily patched up the little bit of drilling he did, i left and never looked back. I have decided not to go back to the DHG at all and am finding a different regular dentist whom I hope will be able to direct me to a more competent endodontist.
