Dr. Topel is great! He was a recommendation that did not disappoint. Gum surgery isn't a lot of fun but was necessary to ensure a good fit for a crown. He patiently explained the procedure and left me with minimal pain. He even called me later that night to make sure I as doing OK. I appreciated that very much!

About Hygienist: Super friendly, professional, and just flat out nice.

Exams, crowns, fillings Very detailed, takes time for going over the procedure. A understanding of comfort level with a procedure. Dr. Topel and his staff are honest, caring, and very professional.

Wasn't impressed with Dr. Topel. He scaried my 3yr old daughter. Going to another office, we had to give her medication BEFORE we left the house for other dentist appts. Thankfully, Metro Dental has a great team that helped her get past all of her fears. Hygentist Mark, at the North Maple Grove office, is fabulous. Thanks to Mark, my daughter two years ago had four long rooted teeth pulled and didn't even blink an eye at having them done. Shortly after those teeth were pulled, she had braces. Recently the braces came off and she has a beautiful smile with all straight teeth. Metro Dental and hygentist Mark are heros in our eyes.

I have very high anxiety when it comes to getting dental work done, but Dr. Topel is very understanding and makes the experience relatively stress free. I had to get crowns on my back molars last year and he was was very skilled and quick, not to mention he made sure to give me the right amount of novocaine (enough to completely numb me up, but I wasn't left without my senses for more than a half hour afterward). I highly recommend him!

I was nervous about taking my daughter to an "adult" dentist. She loves Dr. Topel. He is very patient with her. She's not at all afraid of going back. She didn't have any pain - even with some fillings and a tooth extraction. He talks to her at her level without being condescending. She is 6 years old now and has been going to see him for 3 years.

Dr. Topel is an excellent Dentist! He always takes the time to answer my questions and make sure that I'm comfortable. I could not more strongly recommend a health care practitioner. Sweet and friendly office too!

Efficient, nice. Doesn't go over and above, though. Get's the job done well. Not overly friendly. Nothing special for kids at all. Might as well have been for adults only.

About Hygienist: My kids seemed to get Katie a lot. I don't think she really likes kids. They would ask her questions about what she was doing and if she answered at all, it was a short and mumbled yes or no type answer. I felt bad for my kids whenever we got her. No one in the office was particularly friendly or unfriendly. This office will do in a pinch, but if you want a place that you enjoy (as much as you can at a dentist) than this isn't it.

Dr. Topel and his staff are always very knowledgeable and friendly. I am always given the time to ask the questions I have without feeling rushed. My appointments are always on time and efficient. I am happy with the service I receive from Dr. Topel.
