My daughter got her wisdom teeth pulled before going off to college. Initial appt was quickly made, and the appt lasted no more than 30 minutes, where he looked over xrays, watched a video, and we got an estimation. Very efficient. The actual teeth extraction was on time, went smooth, and my daughter was up and around in a couple days, even eating soft foods, off pain meds. Healed properly, no issues. Everyone seemed friendly, clean office. Only thing to watch was they charged us for something called Sock-it, little pain gel for $35, that my daghter didnt even need!! Thought they were just giving it out, like other samples docs give for free. Supposedly it was in the 'paperwork' that it was going to be charged and not covered by insurance. Must have been fine print. Minus my $35 issue, a good experience overall.

Great staff, very compassionate. I went to the office after been referred by my endodontist for removal of a tooth. I was in excrutiating pain and Dr Roach told me that I needed a bone graft that day otherwise I will loose my other 2 teeeth. It cost me $1300.00 and the bone graft failed 2 months later. I found out later from another surgeon that the bone graft wasn't necessary. I feel Dr Roach took advantage of my situation. Do not recommend to anybody!!!!!!!!

When I went in I was in a lot of pain. They took me in immediatly & the staff was great. They did a great job & I even got a call from Dr. Roach himself later the same evening. It was a great experience considering the amount of pain I was in.

Dr. Roach has a practice called Sonterra OMS (oral and maxillofacial surgery) in San Antonio, TX. I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed at his office. It was really a great experience...much much better than I ever expected! The facility is extremely nice and relaxing...very modern. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the wait time was never bad. I had a consultation with Dr. Roach and he explained the way everything worked and what would happen during the surgery. I then made an appointment, but I ended up having to call and change the date and that was no problem at all, they were very accommodating. On the day of the surgery I was nervous but everything was calm and easy, and the anesthesia worked beautifully. I don't remember a thing and had no problems what so ever. I actually recovered very quickly and never had any pain or problems other than a slightly stiff jaw, and I attribute that to Dr. Roach and his staff's great skill and great work. I really appreciate how easy Dr. Roach made the whole procedure and I would absolutely recommend him and his office to anyone who needs oral surgery!
