Dr. Kha has single-handedly shown me that going to the dentist can actually be a pleasant and - dare I say it - fun experience. This is what sets his practice apart:
* His office is as spotless and polished as any I've ever seen.
* His front-office is staffed by a person that looks happy to see me, knows me by name, and actually helps me understand the breakdown of the cost of the procedures I underwent up-front, so there were no financial surprises.
* Dr. Kha is personable, approachable, and professional. I was impressed by his bedside (chairside?) manner. He recognized that I'm one of the people who don't like going to the dentist, and spent a lot of time putting me at ease:
- He took the time to explain what was going on in my mouth, and did not leave until all of my (many) questions were answered.
- He had to give me injections, and was far more considerate than other dentists I've dealt with: he knew where it would hurt more than other places, and injected the anaesthetic very slowly so as to minimize pain.
* Dr. Kha did his undergrad and post-grad dentistry study at Columbia. I like people who treat me to have attended top-tier academic institutions.
Dr. Kha is the best dentist I've been to, bar none.
