So few Dentist would take my insurance and when my husband's policy changed from Delta PPO to Safeguard DMO I thought I would have to change dentist but he takes both. He treated my gums without the recommended surgery another Dentist wanted to do and then straightened my front teeth without braces. His wife works with him and is very efficient.
About Hygienist: They do not have a hygienist-Dr. Sky always does my cleanings every 3 months.

My husband had had considerable work done by this dentist years ago. Recently when I visited Dr. Sky for a basic exam I ran into problems. I had trouble finding the office, which was down the street from a pawn shop, and was late as a result. There was nonetheless talk of a rescheduling fee. Then a receptionist/dental assistant came into my exam room to complain that my husband had an outstanding balance from three years ago. I was totally unaware of any remaining balance, and had not been billed for it. We had paid a shocking amount of money to Dr. Sky for his treatment, yet were forced to discontinue treatment with him and seek treatment with another doctor. My husband had infections in his teeth and needed a root canal, yet Dr. Sky wouldn't stop talking about periodontal disease and root planing. He did exactly the same thing to me when I came to visit the office. The estimate for a comprehensive exam was $724, most of which I believed to be for unnecessary procedures which my insurance was going to deny. For all my time and trouble, I received only an exam in Dr. Sky's office. I did not get a cleaning, or X-rays, since they were demading I take the whole $724 package or nothing. I will be seeking another dentist.
