I was a patient of Dr. Wells for several years, and each time was a very pleasant experience.
He explained every procedure in detail.
His staff was very friendly.
I would highly recommend Dr. Wells

I have seen Dr Wells for the last time. I have had multiple crowns done over the past couple of years and every time I end up needing a root canal. This time I was out of town and started to have pain, so I went to the local endodontist and he was able to remove the crown that was just placed and he advised me that there was very little tooth left underneath and that this could be the cause of my problems as well as an open gap on the newly placed crown. After explaining to the endodontist that I have this trouble every time he works on me, he suggested that I see another dentist.
I think I will take his advise. I would not recommend Dr Wells to anyone.
About Hygienist: Never has the same hygienist in his office, I think he has high turnover, which based on my experience I understand why.

Dr Wells is a competent dentist. However his prices are higher then some of the other dentists I've been to. I also feel he recommends unnecessary procedures to make extra money.
He tries to do as many procedures as possible himself (extractions, root canal treatment) instead of sending you to a endodontist or oral surgeon. I have been to many dentists through the years and I don't feel that he has my best interests at heart.

Dr Wells is a good dentist but his billing methods leave something to be desired.. He pre-charged my insurance for procedures that never were performed. He recommended new crowns that I believe were unnecessary and it hurts more to chew now then before the procedures. They also did not tell me all the costs that were involved until after the procedure. His staff is pleasant. If you know exactly what work you want done and are aware of his prices before hand, then you will probably have no problems.
Personally, I was not satisfied.
