I was terrified to get a root canal. A friend recommended Dr. Foroughi. He has great chair-manner. He explained everything and went slow with me. It was very painless. I was surprised. I would definitely recommended him to anyone.

Overall, Dr. Foroughi is a very nice doctor, very pleasant to be around. But I'm leaving for another doctor because of my experience over the past 3-4 visits. And because most of his staff is not very helpful or pleasant.
My negative experience started when I needed a root canal about a year and a half ago. At the time, he recommended not getting the root canal. But i pressed him for more info. and realized i would have to get one eventually. So i chose to do the root canal. After it was over and i had a crown on it, he told me he was glad i chose the root canal after all. That was a little unsettling considering, he's the doc and i'm the patient.
Then a few months ago, i began to experience pain in the tooth i had the root canal in. I went to him. He told me to call his offfice for an endodontist rec. if it still hurt after taking antibiotics. He didn't tell me exactly why the root canal didn't work. I called later and left a message. Never heard back.
I found a specialist myself and was told I had to redo the root canal. The first doc didn't go far enough up to clean out all the root. I'm not sure how he missed it, but he did.
Now another $700 later on the same tooth, i'm looking for a new dentist.
