After relocating from Columbus I was fearful I would not find a dentist that matched my Columbus dentist. I was pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Ellefson. I found him to be thorough, but not a dentist to recommend unnecessary dental work. I don't know if it is due to his good care or i am just lucky...i have only had to have one cavity filled in my duration with him. This is always the test...i don't do novacaine. So if a dentist can drill and fill a cavity with minimal pain without the benefit of numbing agents he passes. Dr. Ellefson passed with flying colors. He is very down to earth and seems to be genuine interested in his patients' well-being. He found a cancerous tumor in my mom's mouth which her previous dentist had missed for years (probably saved her life). She switched to Ellefson at my recommendation and has been very pleased (and she is not easy to please).
