Run away. He is very kind and talkative but very bad endo. Worst of a kind. I know some insurance he is the only endo available but plz pay cash but walk away from this endo. He will not treat your canal completely and will make you come back 20x like he did to me as pregnant women saying its your preg that causing delay in recovery. Went to 2nd endo and you gotta hear what they say about this endo. Even all other endo know how bad this guy is at his professional.

I was referred to Dr. Frank Bruno for a root canal because his office accepted my insurance. He made misleading statements, removed a post from the tooth, did not treat the canal and put me on antibiotics for 3+ weeks. First penicillin, then switched to clindamycin. Kept telling me that he was 99.9% sure he could successfully do the root canal, but that I had to wait for the antibiotic to work. It was a "nightmare". I was on a lot of pain, but he would not see me, said I had to wait. my money had been collected upfront. I went for a second opinion with another specialist, who told me that the tooth was too damaged, and an extraction was recommended.
About Front Desk: When I called in pain trying to reach Dr. Bruno they told me to wait, that he is only in that office on Fridays. I told them I could drive to any office, but was told "this is not how it works, you need to wait".

I have had some negative experiences with root canals in the past. Dr. Bruno performs this specialty in a multi dentist facility as well as in his own practice. He is thoroughly professional. He explains procedures, gives the patient an opportunity to talk and ask questions before setting up to work. He also uses the dental dam - which is thoroughly appreciated by this patient as I hate debris all over my mouth and have had aspiration problems in the past. He works quickly and expertly but when time is needed to heal and get the job done right he is not in any hurry just to get your case over with. I would recommend him to anyone - especially those who have had horror stories in the past.

My daughter recommended this dentist after I had some bad experiences with root canals. He was very caring and the treatment was great. I would recommend him!
