I recently had a wisdom tooth extracted and it went very well. He knew exactly what he was doing, he took the time to explain what was going on and rescepted my choice of not being put to sleep (I've expereinced a dentist that did not). His staff was very nice and professional even at the front desk. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that needs an extraction. No referral needed and I got an appointment the next day!

Hands down best oral surgeon in the area. I was referred to Dr. Goecke by my sister who is an office manager for a dentist in McLean. Dr. Goecke's staff are extremley knowlegable, pleasant, and a good first impression of what is to come. Dr. Goeke was patient, informative, and made me instantly know HE was the right person to remove my wisdom teeth. The proceure was pain free and went of without a hitch. I did develop a dry socket (which has nothing to do with his technique-some people just get them) and he made room for me immediately to come in and get my socket packed with this clove stuff which was instant relief. He called me several times to check on me and was available for whatever I needed. Don't even look past here- take my word for it. You won't be sorry.

Dr. Gocke is a very patient and gentle surgeon..something you don't expect from most doctors/surgeons since I am a big sissy! He was meticulous, thorough and his office is gorgeous...a state of the art facility. I was so impressed with his knowledge and his staff was very nice and understanding. I would definitely recommend him for any kind of surgery..implants, wisdom teeth...whatever you need! You'll have a great experience!!
