I have had general exam with fluoride treatment. I have also had a cavity filled in what I believe was called a resin surface treatment. I have been very satisfied with the treatments from Dr. Hedlund. I can not answer as to how this practice compares to others in terms of cost. I have no knowledge of what would be considered usual and reasonable prices for dental procedures.
The visits themselves were relaxing and I have been treated promptly each time. The office staff has been great in filing my paperwork through my dental coverage even after I switched to a network that the practice is not a part of.
About Hygienist: The hygenist who has treated me at this practice is named Dawn (forgive me, but I do not recall her last name). She has been professional and gentle during my visits. The care she has provided has been great thus far.

Dr. Hedlund is friendly, thorough and pain-free. My adult teeth are not bad, but I have a huge fear of the dentist because of major problems when I was a child. Dr. Hedlund ensures that I remain calm and pain free during any procedure. And his receptionist is always on top of filing insurance paperwork properly, calling for appointment reminders and rescheduling appointments without any problems, and friendly. Also, Dr. Hedlund used to smoke, so he won't give you any guilt trips about what you're not doing correctly. He'll just point out things for your information, and gently guide you on how to improve. I've recommended many friends here and they've all been impressed. My former coworker who moved from Atlanta to Florida still drives for her bi-annual checkups, he's that good.
