Dr. Lawson was rude and disrespectful to me when I told her I was breastfeeding my child. Not only was she not holistic in her approach to breastfeeding (she seemed totally against it), but she was outright rude to me when I tried to discuss the matter with her. I would not expect any doctor to ever be so rude.
One of her assistants volunteered the statement, "I hope you're not breastfeeding your daughter when she's 8." This was totally uncalled for since my daughter was only 1 1/2 at the time. And, even if she was older, there was no reason for the assistant to make a statement like that except to be disrespectful to me.
In addition to these problems, the staff has been very flaky and unhelpful. They have messed up twice in communicating with me. Once because they wrote down the wrong phone number and never figured out that they were not calling me. The other time, they claimed to have mailed me a bill which they didn't mail to me. As a result, the office charged me extra fees for the bill being late. This was after they had assured me that my insurance company was going to pay for it.
I would not go to this dentist. Find someone else!!
