I saw Dr Sawhney for cleanings and fillings over a period of several years. I have been consistently impressed by her professional manner. In particular, she is very communicative about what she is doing, what it means for my dental health, and ways I can support continued dental health.
With regard to cost and help with insurance, she has been very accommodating and cognizant of cost. Initially I did not think I had insurance, but when I realized my job provides it, she reversed the charges on my card and billed my insurance. I have TMJ and she discussed options, recommending, in my case, that I choose a lower cost option. I found this very impressive.

I've known Dr. Sawhney for over 5 years, she is one of the best dentist's I've ever known. I had several cleanings, and fillings done. She never rushed me, always took her time and was extremely patient and friendly. She is a new and upcoming dentist, I wish more dentists were like her. She gradually upgraded her offices and equipment, making the entire experience 5 star.
I received all the cost information up front as to what would be covered by insurance and what would be my portion. All office staff were friendly and approachable.
I would definitely recommend her to other patients.
About Front Desk: Nirav helped me schedule all my appointments in a timely manner, was very knowledgeable about all my insurance questions.
About Hygienist: Vicki was my hygienist. All appointments were prompt, all the equipment was clean, she was very gently and took her time in completing her work.

Dr. Sawhney is ver nice and pleasant, but lacks experience. She can easily handle ordinary cavities, but is overwhelmed by more difficult procedures. I had several crowns installed. They never fit right and a year later I found out from another dentist that each tooth was full of decay and I had to go through lengthy and unpleasant treatment to get them right. Dr. Sawhney also leaves a lot of work to her assistant, who is also inexperienced. Not recommended.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Sawhney. First time I went there she checked my teeth & said that I need to do some work (crowns) so we scheduled several sessions. Every time I went back I had another person doing the work (most of them were interns who were not very good). The crowns were done very poorly (& very EXPENSIVE), so I went to another dentist who said that he can fix it but it would cost me again a large amount of money. A year later I went back to Dr. Sawnhey just for cleaning (because of Vicky who is fantastic hygienist) & ended up talking to the doctor who realized what a terrible job was done with the crowns. She apologized for all the interns doing the work & kindly asked me to come back so she herself will do the work this time. Guess what, two days later & received the bill for the consultation fee from her (consultation that I did not want one the first place & the one she offered).
I will never go back there!!!
