Read Reviews for Dr. Marcia Loo
I had 2 small but noticeable chips in my front tooth and a cavity that was bothering me and I wanted them fixed right away. I picked a dentist based on location from my insurance's website (bad idea). Dr. Marcia Loo's chair-side manner felt like forced and unsincere friendliness. She kept hitting my other teeth and gums with the instruments. She smoothed out the chips in my front teeth decently. After she filled my cavity and asked me to bite down and make sure my teeth touch, I kept saying they weren't contacting right but after 2 more attempts she implied that it was just because my mouth was numb and I couldn't tell. When the numbness wore off (5 hours later!) my teeth were still not contacting right. Until the next day I bit down on something and heard a loud crunching noise. That tooth is still sensitive. Seems like she didn't properly/completely sand the filling down. The office was very elegantly decorated and clean but tiny. The chair didn't even have a mouth rinsing sink. At the end I had to ask to rinse my mouth and they gave me a cup of mouth wash to spit out in a regular sink. She was only the 2nd dentist i'd ever seen, but my friends said she was expensive compared to their own dentists.
