I went to him for way too long. Makes suggestions while u r in chair and pushes u to go forward. He has 4 or so patients at one time and runs between them like a mad person. I have had a number of root canals fail and now possibly an implant. I stopped seeing him in 2008. Seriously crook and really BAD dentist. Should be reported.

My dental crown fell while eating and went to him for a replacement. Without further hesitation he tore off the remaining part of my tooth root and said he wanted to put the abutment 2 days later!!! (-while the recovery process was just starting!!!-)
I asked for a second opinion and this dentist told me it was not only incorrect but also that what Dr. Yahav proposed was incredibly dangerous.
Thanks to Dr. Yahav I have had to pay for an entire new abutment, but thanks to the second Dr's opinion I saved a terrible pain for the insertion of an abutment too early (the recovery process takes 3 months not 2 days!)
HE IS DANGEROUS AND DOESN'T DO A GOOD JOB. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH HIM!!!!!!!!!

Went to Yahav early in his practice for a simple replacement of a molar filling. I was more than dumb. I trusted him. He told me he could see a line in the tooth and that it would crack. I never felt any dentist working on my teeth press so hard with the drill. Sure enough tooth broke and then he replaced the broken tooth with a crown -- more expensive than a new filling. I should’ve sued him, but just never went back to him. In short, he‘s. dishonest and deliberately broke my tooth. The only explanation is that he got more

Implants were a total success and the staff is professional. I've only had good experiences at Dr. Yahav. I have total confidence in his work and ethics. He is a perfectionist and isn't that what you want in your dentist. If you want a nice smile, go to Dr. Yahav.

I moved from out of the state and I was a graduate student in Evanston when I happened upon Dr. Yahav's Evanston office. I went to biannual checkups for two years in Evanston and I was so excited to continue going to Dr. Yahav when I moved to the city. He has always been extremely courteous, professional and legitimately concerned about my mouth's well-being. I've highly recommended him to friends and office colleagues. My mouth has remained cavity-free for eight years while seeing Dr. Yahav and he has been the only dentist/doctor that I have not switched during my time in Chicago

I had $20,000 of work done, mostly veneers. More than half have failed. I'm disgusted and this man cannot be trusted as far as you can throw him. I'm still waiting for him to contact me after several attempts. I want my money back!!!!!!!
