Read Reviews for Dr. Said Shaari
I went to this dentist in Mar of 07. He suggested a root canal be performed on a wisdom tooth. Little did I know I would be having this treatment performed by someone that is not an endodontist on a difficult tooth in which the usual recommendation is extraction. After Dr. Said Shaari finished the procedure, I was informed that instead of getting a crown (that I was convinced to pay more money for) it was decided to use an onlay instead. Not knowing any better I agreed, but was disturbed that no one informed me of this change even while the procedure to prepare my tooth for an onlay was being performed. Less than a week after I received the onlay my tooth started swelling. It got so bad that I went to another dentist (an actual endodontist). I was informed that a crown is recommended because of the risk of infection and tooth fracture brought on by an onlay. Furthermore, Dr. Shaari did not use a rubber dam and according to the endodontist it likely increased the risk of bacterial infection. After complaining for months, they agreed to give me a partial refund, however to this day (two years later) I have received nothing. The end result, a failed root canal, tooth infection, no refund, my tooth fractured and needs to be extracted.
I know this doctor: 8 months
