I've had major work done by Dr. Aknouk including root canal, extractions and crowns. There was never a moment of pain during or after each procedure which is more than I can say about any other dentist I've been to over the years.
I would highly recommend him for any dental services.

I just had five crowns done all at once by Dr. Sameh Aknouk at his Union Square office (not the Bronx office), replacing an assortment of old crowns done by different dentists over the decades. The teeth colors didn’t match, were showing silver, or were real teeth that had become discolored or chipped. I decided to have them all done at the same time to make sure they all looked alike.
Naturally I was nervous about the quality of work on that many teeth. However, I took the leap of faith and found that throughout the process Dr. Aknouk was very understanding about my nervousness and open to all my questions and concerns, especially about the color matching all the other teeth.
The bottom line is, I am extremely pleased with the outcome. You really can’t tell which teeth Dr. Aknouk did because they look so natural and match the others so well. Based on my firsthand experience, I highly recommend him to anyone thinking of having crowns done.

Had a beautiful experience with this Dr I've always been afraid of dentist,so it was no surprise when u walked into his office with hardly any teeth in my mouth I also had no self esteem,and was truly in a depressed state. Dr Aknouk recommended 'flexies"and I have been a different woman ever since. Yes they were a little expensive but well worth it!!! Thanks Dr Aknouk.
