Dr Damavandi is a very conservative and an extremely honest dentist who does not take chances. She is a very careful doctor and has been very proactive in identifying potential problems down the road. She will perform a procedure on you only if she is absolutely confident of her ability to do it. Otherwise she asks you to see a specialist. This has its pros and cons since you may end up seeing a specialist a bit too easily. She also does not have contact with very many dentists, so while she wanted me to see someone else easily, she was unable to advise whom to see. She is rather defensive about expressing her opinion which I found problematic since I want a dentist to provide firm guidance. She does not return calls easily.
About Hygienist: Dentist does the cleaning herself. Does a thorough job and is gentle.
