Dr. Silva is like an auto mechanic. He likes to throw medical terms without given honest answers and prescribe costly treatments with no consideration for his patients.

Initial visit after many years in the Navy.
First visit was a whirlwind affair, I supposedly had all kinds of problems and mystery cracks in teeth. Need to fix NOW!
I wanted a second opinion since I just had a retirement check-up with no problems found and no pain etc..
High pressure sales tactics to get me to do it now, not to wait for second opinion. Felt like I was on a used car lot, or being pressured by a door to door salesman!!!
They billed me for the work anyway, even though I had nothing done except a cleaning!! Unresponsive on the phone, not much better in person. Made me feel like I was lying to them when I tried to dispute the bill. Finally cleared it, but thought I was going to have to get another X-ray to prove the work wasn't done.
Seems like they (Poway Dental Group) create work to pay for all their really expensive toys and vacations!!!!
My wife had a similar experience on her first visits.
Not going back EVER!!
About Hygienist: Waited an hour!!!! They lost my sign in while a steady stream of kids came through on 'Orthodontics day'. Cleaning was OK, didn't really feel like they did much. No scraping of tartar like the Navy did. Did NOT feel 'Clean' after like the Navy cleanings did.
