I visited this dentist only because tt was the closest to my home. In 2007, my whole family (of 3) went for periodical cleaning. They tricked us into buying nightguards for both my wife and child but not me. The dentist's assistant said that I needed only cleaning but Dr.Turusunov stopped by and forced the assistant to do a tooth filling. The tooth filling was removed a week later because it was hurting me. Then another Dentist said that I didn't need any filling. I was charged twice, once for the fill and then to remove it. The insurance covered most of the charges and I paid the rest out of pocket.
Then went for another visit six months later. We cancelled the third set of visits because none of were really interested in getting our teeth cleaned.A few days later, I got a huge bill for $450, for services rendered 1 year earlier. I asked for an explanation of the charges and I was asked to request them from my Insurer.I called the insurer but I didn't understand the terminology. They said the dentist was not supposed to come back to me for anything because the insurer had paid their portion.The dentist's office courteously threatened to send the bill to the collection agency.I think I got billed because i stopped going. Beware!
About Hygienist: Dr. Turusunov just walks around making sure the assistant or technician will perform more procedures than necessary so that they can bill you more.

I have been going to Dr. Tursunov every before she opened this office. She has been great and always very caring. I had recently had implant done at her office by a Periodontist and Dr. Tursunov put a crown on it. What service! All in one place. I was very happy.
