I'm someone who is always afraid of the dentist (I had horrible experiences in the past), and I've struggled to find someone I'm comfortable with. Well, not anymore. Dr. Read is amazing!! I had a dental emergency and he fit me in right away. He is very positive and makes you feel extremely comfortable. He is very patient and understanding and he explains exactly what he is doing as he does it. He also constantly checks with you to make sure you're doing okay. I will never go to another dentist!

Dr. Read has been handling my family's dental needs for several years. He and his staff make you feel like part of their family. I've had regular cleanings and a couple of fillings, but my wife had a root canal - whether a large procedure, or a regular check-up, you're made to feel important by dentists and hygienists alike. I'd recommend this office to anyone in the greater Houston area!

I was lucky enough to find Dr. Read because his office is near my home. I literally picked him by his office address and am SO glad it worked out like it did. From start to finish in my upper arch dental implant program, Dr. Read and his staff were very helpful, cheerful, gentle & caring of me as a patient. The staff is always pleasant and very thorough when handling the insurance portion of the process. When my implants were completed, many of the staff came by to see me and offer their congratulations. It is, of course, a very long process with many visits required, so I would suggest finding a dentist close to your home, but if you need to travel to include Dr. Read & his staff as part of your treatment, I highly recommend him! My face swelled up when I first removed the denture after my last 8 teeth were removed. Dr. Read came in on his day off so I could have an unscheduled visit and he could prescribe pills to reduce the swelling. I was very moved by this-I could tell he truly cares how his patients are faring. He is a perfectionist and makes sure he is taking enough time to ensure you heal properly, so that the treatment is a success. The dental implants have changed my life. Thanks so much Dr. Read-I recommend you often

Dr.Read did a front tooth implant and a front crown both look very natural . I am very happy and pleassed. This treatment involved sereral visits that were not at all painful. He and hiis assistant were always happy and cheerfl and explained work as they went along. and answered any and all questions. I was always told in advance what to expec next visit and the length of time each appointment would take. I certainly would rcommend this dentist and this proceedure to anyone
About Hygienist: Sheree was his assistant and was just great, always cheerful and welcoming . She relieved any apprehension that I might have had..

I have neglected my teeth for well over a decade due to anxiety I acquired from visits to the dentist as a child. I have years worth of dental work in my future, so far, Dr. Read has successfully completed a root canal/crown and 5 fillings. His chair-side manner is impeccable. I am excited to have Dr. Read and his team on my side. The facilities are top notch and the entire staff is 5 star! I am very happy my mom recommended Dr. Read.

I have been going to Dr Read now for about 4 years and Dr. Read is the BEST dentist I have ever been to, and I do not like going to the dentist. He is the first dentist that has made me not afraid to go. His chair side manner is so calming and it makes you so comfortable. He asks you how you are doing through the entire procedure. He has done Whitening, teeth lengthening, invisoline, crowns, fillings and root canels on me. I love the work he has done my teeth to give me back that beautiful smile! I highly recommend Dr. Read to everyone. He is honest with you as to what you need and is amazing at what he does!

I recently saw Dr. Read for sensitivity I was having in a molar. I was worried it would result in a root canal but Dr. Read was was very thorough with my treament and gave me multiple options. He was very sensitive to my anxiety and made my dental experience enjoyable. The assistant, Cindy, was also very calming and helped make to whole experience completely painless!

I have been to Dr. Read for 5 or 6 visits and every time the experience is positive, painless, and timely! I've had one root canal and crown done, neither giving me any problems. And a front tooth was starting to discolor and causing minor pain. Dr. Read did a procedure, not sure what since I'm not a dentist(!) but fixed it!
My teeth cleaning experiences have been easy and good too. Tiffany and Tammy have done a great job and been very friendly, thorough, and expedient.
I have had nothing but exceptional experiences at Dr. Read's office and would highly recommend him to anyone.
