Read Reviews for Dr. Caden Ngo
I was recommended Dr Ngo by friends and as a physician myself, I trusted that he would be fair, honest and ethical. He was pleasant, nice and had a good bedside manner and has a very expensive and gorgeous office. Unfortunately, he fed on my fears and put making money to fund his expensive office above that of his patient's best interests.
After a small chip on my tooth after eating something hard on one tooth which was not painful - he recommended three crowns and a filling. Having only had less than a handfull of fillings in my life and excellent dental care where, I had no cavities - this was a shock but I trusted him. He recommended the better gold filled crowns and would filedown and replace my teeth with this. It would take 3 to 6 visits and cost me 6000 dollars out of pocket above my insurance costs. I booked the work but took two second opinions and both dentists said all I needed was a filling for 40 dollars out of pocket and I have been fine since for the last year. He is now charging money for my dental records to be transferred. He also overcharged my husband for a crown which still does not fit well and refuses to transfer his records without payment. Highly unethical. Untrustworthy
About Hygienist: He does his own cleanings as he can not afford to have an office assistant or dental assistant and prefers to save money. this may have changed recently. Not gentle and splashed water all over my face as nobody was there to hold the water and equipment to help him.

it is obvious that a lot of time, energy, cost and effort has been put into decorating the office. the office is amazing but what makes a dentist good would be the dental care not the office. Dr Ngo is a kind, caring patient dentist who takes time with his patients. He lacks a receptionist or dental assistant currently which makes booking appointments and performing some dental procedures less efficient. In general, with all medical and dental care, caution is important. Nobody should proceed with a course of action without a second opinion to avoid unnecessary costly procedures, pain and suffering.
