Dr. Chan and her staff are fabulous! I love going to my dental appts. Dr. Chan is very thorough, professional and friendly. The staff is great too. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you need a great dentist, this is the place to go to!They are trustworthy, personable and experienced. The front desk people are also very helpful with all the insurance issues.

Tracy Chan DDS, IS THE BEST DENTIST. I have been a patient of hers since she opened Marina Dental Care, 10 years ago. I have always been treated with the greatest respect and courtesy there. Her office staff is great and always accommodating. Dr. Chan is a very well read and knowledgeable regarding dentistry. She is not the type of doctor, that pushes you to do anything you don't want to do. She explains all treatment options to you and then lets you make your decisions regarding your teeth. While working on my teeth she has always been very gentle and I have never had any problems. She has great bedside manners and is very compassionate and empathetic.
The office girls have also been very helpful when it comes to billing issues. They actually called the insurance company up for me and billed them for me. I know that it is not the office's job to do that, so I am glad they do it for me. I have tried to call the insurance companies before and it is a major hassle!
The office is always very clean and pleasant. The atmosphere is very relaxed and soothing. She has CD players with head phones for patients to where during their treatment, which is great for helping me relax.
I highly recommend Dr. Tracy Chan.

Just to want to give you heads up regarding services of Dr. Chan, Although she is very pleasant and services are okay, I had major, more than 1 year long billing dispute with her. I noticed major billing discrepancies on the receipts from my insurance. I took me a while to figure out that she has overcharged me close to 1500$ by billing the same service on the same tooth twice!!!
I tried to resolve this peacefully with her office but they wanted to put me to debt collection agency instead. Finally, I asked the insurance for an audit that confirmed that I was indeed billed twice for the same thing! At another times, she always billed me later more than I was quoted at the time of the service.
If you need just tooth cleaning she is fine, but if you need more, beware or look somewhere else.

Very nice dentist, did 3 crowns, 2 of them very good, one okay. Other minor dental work was fine, cleaning could have been better. Sometimes long waiting.
THE MAJOR ISSUE IS THAT YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR BILLS HERE. I WAS TWICE OVERCHARGED several hundred dollars!!!! The dentist's office tried to bill me and my insurance company twice for the same tooth and dispute went so far that I had to ask for an audit!!! For other treatment, I got two very different quotas from different people in the office and I had to demand to be billed correctly.

Dr. Chen at Marina Dental Care has been my dentist over the last 5 years, and has never given any reason to complain. She is always very attentive, and listens carefully to the patient before recommending what action to take. I've never felt rushed, and all procedures have been completed very carefully. They also provide music to listen to, and take great care that the patient feels comfortable during procedures. Generally just really nice people within the practice as well, including the dental assistants and receptionists.
