Read Reviews for Dr. David Biles
I have been to Dr. Biles for prophylaxis. The staff are very friendly and the 1st appointment is very thorough. They spend 3-4 hours doing digital x-rays, checking out your teeth, and going through your history. I was impressed by the treatment plan they produced at the end of my visit. I am now considering the second part of my plan, which is to remove my mercury fillings and replace them with composites. Dr. Biles is very much behind this procedure and encourages it. His facility is supposedly set-up for extremely safe removal. I have had no problems with them concerning my insurance and the receptionist is very helpful.

I first went to Dr. Biles because he is the only dentist in my area who has been trained in safe mercury removal and operates a mercury free office. I planned to have all of the mercury removed from him and after a five year lapse in dental visits w/ xrays due to becoming a mother to two kids, I found out from Dr. Biles, quite unexpectedly, that I have advanced periodontal disease. He was gentle in his delivery of this life-changing information and the news that I may face losing up to twelve teeth. I felt very supported in his care and with those in his office. The hygienist, Heidi was very sympathetic through all of my tears with the cleanings and root scaling and planing. I got much support and info from Dr. Biles when I said I'd be taking a proactive minimally interventionist approach to treating my disease and overall I feel supported both emotionally an dentally by Dr. Biles and his staff. I would recommend them as a regular dentist and he also specializes in bioesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. My only issue is the cost, especially for the work I'm facing is astronomical. I don't know how it compares with the 'going rate' but I can say that it's going to be a huge burden for me fincancially for years to come....
