We are looking for another dentist! After waiting in the waiting room for over an hour (!) after our appointment, I was called into one of the back rooms where I had to wait another half an hour. They tried to push another procedure on me that I didn't want, and they almost refused services on cleaning my teeth! We will never go back

I found "Dr." Harrington after moving to Va. Beach and went in for a routine exam. I felt that my treatment was rough and shared the experience with my wife - who decided not to see him again. I had to return though and while there asked about some discomfort - I told him I was not interested in treatment unless it was covered by insurance and the out of pocket cost was reasonable. He assured me that Delta Dental covered 1/2 and my cost would be just $600 total. He and his assistant then butchered my mouth, committing error after error requiring me to return repeatedly due to caps falling off, ill fitting and painful repairs, a broken cap, and the final product does not fit right. It feels like there is something underneath the cap. I cannot eat on that side due to pain, and I am in constant discomfort. To add INSULT to INJURY - the Dr. sent me a bill for $1600 (he quoted me $1200) and he said the insurance wasn't going to pay anything! I told him BEFORE HE STARTED that I was not interested in treatment unless it was covered by insurance. Now, not only am I in constant pain (worse than before treatment) but he expects me to pay nearly 3 TIMES the quoted amount. I wrote to him but was ignored.
