Had a root canal + crown done by Dr. Carver a few weeks ago. So far I'm happy with the results. Dr. Carver was very professional and did a great job of putting me at ease all through a rather unpleasant procedure. She was gentle and did her best to minimize pain. Not entirely happy with the billing procedure of the group she works with (Newbury Dental) - they charge you the copayment/ co-insurance right upfront, based on their standard rates, not on the rates they have negotiated with your insurance provider. Once my insurer's statement came in I realised I had been charged more than I should have paid. Was told that they can't put the difference back on my card and that I would have to wait a few weeks for a refund check to be sent to me - not the most-patient friendly policy there, but I have no complaints with Dr. Carver and the treatment itself
