I have been going to see Dr. Massoud for a little over 16 years. Although i'm no longer in the area, I still travel to him whenever i am in need of care. He is the greatest.

If you want expensive treatments and want to see a dentist who doesn't care about you, you've come to the right place. Not only has Dr. Massoud cheated me off my money, but other patients as well. I've heard of so many complaints just sitting in the waiting room. And many have left because of Dr. Massoud's greediness. He doesn't listen to what you want or need, he just insists on the most expensive treatment plan, even if it's not for your best interest. My teeth are absolutely ruined because of him. If you want a good dentist who won't try to steal money from you, go somewhere else. There are hundreds of better dentists in New York City. Save yourself the agony.

Dr. Massoud recently has performed surgery on my upper tooth where i had an infection that pretty much was close to my sinus. Not only did he make me feel at ease during the hole procedure (considering i am always a bit anxious at the doctors office), he was very meticulous and it healed perfectly. The staff is very helpful and office very clean. You never feel rushed & you always get great service. As far as insurance, I do not have any & yes it can be expensive but in the long run worth every penny. In the end you get what you pay for. I have been his client for 10 years & it those years I have never had problems with any of the work he has ever done on me.

Dr. Massoud is probably one of the best dentists I've ever been to. His knowledge and techniques are first rate. I haven't had extensive dental work done but he's replaced some of my fillings and did a porcelain cap for me. The completed work has always been excellent, also I've had little or no discomfort while being worked on.
He's an easy going likable guy, easy to talk to but also very professional and in spite of a very busy office his communication is pretty good.
He's had a handful of different hygienists since I've been going most have been good, some very good.
The woman who runs the front desk can be a little annoying. She sent me 3 bills for that porcelain cap...BEFORE I even had the work done! The appt. reminders can be brutal too, weeks before your appt. she'll start the calls, sometimes calling everyday until you respond. I finally told her if I CAN'T make the appt. I'll be the one calling her.
If there is a downside here it is:
Dr. Massoud is a very good dentist. You get what you pay for here. He's not cheap. This becomes a problem (in the wallet) for me sometimes because he's not in my network and I have to pay out of pocket more than I would like to.

Dr. Massoud is an exceptionally thorough and talented dentist, as well as being very personable. His office staff are willing to complete the paperwork needed to submit to insurance companies as well. Very positive review!

He's got a really gentle touch and he is a very nice guy.
He seems to have all the high-tech equipment and is very knowledgeable. He takes the time to explain what the hell he's doing to your mouth!
He is really expensive though..
But overall, I highly recommend him, especially for people who may be really afraid of the dentist.

Dr. Massoud is a cosmetic and implant specialist -- I go to him as a general check-up dentist and even though he's out of network for my company, he's worth the money. The most caring dentist, really sets you at ease. Highly recommended also uses state of the art equipment.
