I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Hopgood. I had a fear of dentist, before I came to him, I call him the gentle
Dentist.
As for my implant, I had 5 or 6, due to the cost we did a few half 1 year and the other half the next year.
as for the cost, noting is cheep anymore.
His office staff is wonderful as well, they treat me just like family. I would recommend him highly.
I also want to say something about Terry, she is DR Hopgood Dental Assistant, what a hoot, I can tell you never a dull moment with her, she take my mind off what the doc is doing by teasing me. like I said a great group of people.
I would have stayed with them this long if they were not good at what they do and they did not make me feel safe.
About Front Desk: Joanne is new, I am just getting to know her, she seem very nice. she seem to fit in with the group
About Hygienist: the hygienist is great, she take her time with me. boy does she know her stuff, I look forward to seeing her bright small each time I go to have a cleaning. great personality always smiling, just an awesome person

I was a patient of Dr. Hopgood 4 years ago, and received the best service from him. I had one root canal and one cavity fixed. My husband also got some of his cavities fixed. After 4 years, my husband had other cavity problems, and by comparison, he just realized how outstanding Dr. Hopgood's work is. Now I have to be very picky on finding my new dentist.

My husband and I began to be the patients of Dr. Hopgood from May 2006. We knew him from a friend, who has two kids, and she is very satisfied. I had one root canal and two teeth fillings, and my husband had several minor teeth fillings. The results are fantastic!
So far, it is our best experience with dental care. Dr. Hopgood has very decent facilities and very friendly staff. After one or two visits, they could even call my name, and the nurse who supported me during the surgery was so great. I squeezed her hand so much because of fear, but when the surgery started, I was not afraid any more.
From the first visit, Dr. Hopgood gave both of us very careful examination and explained the problems patiently, and gave us a very considerate plan of treatment. He is an artist, fixing my cavities, and I didn't even feel them after the first several sour days passed by. I heard some friends had very bad experience with their dentists, such as uneasy chew or something. I would recommend you choose your dentist carefully if you don't want to have a bigger and bigger cavitiy and have to redo it again and again.
Unfortunately, we are living thousands of miles away and cannot use his service now. It is really unfortunate :(

The dentist you only dream about. Keep in mind, I unfotunately can not use his services anymore, live too far away. However, after being Dr. Hopgood patient for a while, I've been flying from abroad to do all my procedures. If highest quality honest job is important to you check out this doctor. Feelings and crowns that he installed 15 years ago (I am not kidding you) are still there. I trust doctor because of many times I came for a check up to leave with a smile after cleaning only.
To my regret, I can not find the same quality and honesty doctor in Chicago. I've tried and changed probalby a dozen by now and still looking.
If live in the Boston area, you owe it to yourself to check this dentist!
If you are as suspicious as I am, check my comment to the endodontist David Crane in Chicago. Great speciallist with the staff of poorest manners, etc ....
