My daughter had a root canal. I paid A LOT of money up front (I didn't owe anything). I'm a medical coder/biller. The office did not bill my insurance for one procedure - $150.00. When I questioned the receptionist, she stated the insurance didn't cover that procedure. By law you should bill every charge and let the insurance decide if they will cover/deny the charge. I demanaded the staff to bill my insurance. The insurance processed the claim and determined I had no responsibility. I'm still waiting on my refund. I'm positive Dr. Qamar is charging patients knowing the insurance does not cover it PER CONTRACT!!! THIS IS FRAUD!! I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH MY INSURANCE COMPANY. BEWARE OF THE CHARGES AND REVIEW YOUR STATEMENT. CONTACT YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY TO TO GO OVER CHARGES THAT ARE ON YOUR RECEIPT!! I'LL NEVER USE HIM AGAIN!!
