I was pleasantly surprised with the level of professionalism at this dental facility. From the time I made my appointment (within 2 weeks) to the time I checked-in (I was called in right on time) to the cleaning (exceptional hygenist and dentist) this was a first-rate experience all-around. There are so many dental offices who treat their patients like they're visiting a car repair shop. You go in for maintenance or an oil change and have to sit through a consultation for their "recommended services". I've been to dental offices where you go in for a cleaning and they practically try to replace everything in your mouth regardless of if it is necessary or you get the hard sell on teeth whitening. I have to say as a techie I was intrigued by the level of technology technology this office uses - Panoramic x-ray for new patients, digital bitewing x-ray (no waiting for processing or paper/film waste). You can also watch CNN on the overhead flat panel. Pretty neat stuff. I recommend them.

Wonderful dentist office! They always bring me back on time, but I never feel like they won't take the time to talk to me. Recently I had a crown done and there was almost no pain, and it seems just like new! Top notch work and very well run office.

Dr. Lowery is a very caring dentist. She went over my treatment plan tooth by tooth (yes, I know they are awful). Her staff and other doctors are great. I would continue to see her but she no longer accepts my insurance and her office is quite a treck for me.

Dr. Lowery is a wonderful dentist. My wife and I have used her for two years, and now have to switch b/c of insurance. That said, Dr. Lowery has the cheapest prices I could find for the crowns I need, which is surprising considering the beautiful, new, and update-to-date office. I didn't realize how good her pricing was until I had to start looking around once our insurance changed. The staff is very friendly. The dental hygenists are knowlegable and gental, and very accommodating. All of their equipment is new--the most recent technology. Another thing I love about Dr. Lowery is that she is very caring of her patients. I needed some work done badly but didn't have the money at the time, and she helped work it out so I could get it done and actually afford.
By the way, she is the first dentist I have used in Austin, and now I'm having to search for another and having a very difficult time. Maybe it's because of the high expectations I now have. Dr. Lowery is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Their office and staff are very nice, but the treatment was very poor. They are to busy and inexperience to handle certain cases. My root canal was done there , but receive an infection a few months later because not all the nerves were removed from the canal. I also receive a crown for my tooth but after a month, the crown was cracked and it was a food trap. They redid the crown, but same results.

Dr. Lowery was very nice and the staff was exceptionally professional. The offices are brand new and have very high-tech equipment and you can even watch TV or a DVD while she's drilling away. My only complaint is that I think she is a little overzealous in the work performed. It had been a year since a cleaning and check-up and she found 13 cavtities. My entire life, I have had 4 or 5 and I'm 24. I got them fixed because I didn't want to hassle with another dentist. I have a lot of sensitivity now and some sharp edges so I chose to go to a new dentist.

I was not happy with the general manner and customer service at Avery Ranch Dental. Treatments which another dentist found to be unwarranted were pushed, but the dentist (not Dr. Lowery, but her partner) would not explain the these treatments -- shunting me off to the office person who tried to arrange payment for procedures I didn't even understand. Furthermore, their office staff had very poor knowledge of what insurance would and would not cover, giving me incorrect information several times.
