I usually don't write reviews but Dr. Lee is truly amazing. I was really self conscious about me smile and I'd has a host on issues in the past. After many consultations with oral surgeons in the DC area, I was sold on Dr. Lee from the very first visit. The office is spectacular! Clean, modern and welcoming. The staff is beyond professional, from the front desk staff to the assistants. All were top notch!
I had dental implants placed and I am so so so happy about the results. I cannot stop smiling. It was beyond worth it and I wish I would have sought out Dr. Lee sooner. I have told my friends, co-workers and family about Dr. Lee non-stop. If you need oral surgery, Dr. Virginia Lee and the Capital Oral & Facial surgery team is the place to go!

Very nice, professional attitude, staff is great. Multiple procedures over a 5 year period. Wisdom teeth turned out great, a few implants with minor complications. For everyday activities highly recommended. Great bedside manner and very hardworking! Always checking up on you.

Wonderful experience with this oral surgeon for extractions, bone graphs and implants. Very thorough and detailed explanations. Straight shooter. Excellent front office staff.

Going here reminds me of buying a new car. The friendly bantor- you can just see they are trying so hard which is very unsincere. Call for a problem and get transfered to the "office manager" who is really more like a sales guy. The prices are sky high here. I do not mind paying a lot if I get quality service. I have gone to Guttenburg and Emmory before and they accept no insurance but are so much more professional and efficient than this place. Dr. Virginia Lee just comes off as being so fake. The office is decorated like someone's living room. They should focus on the care and less on the decor.

So I made the terrible mistake of going to an out-of-network provider--Dr. Lee. I'm not even sure she's a part of any insurance programs, but she accepts insurance (mine was Metlife).
I had 3 teeth extracted (2 wisdom and a dead tooth). She also had to place a bone-graft.
Everything went extremely well. The procedure gave me the best sleep I'd had in weeks. I did, however, wake up a little bit during it, but I did NOT feel any pain. I think that was just my own body, and not necessarily indicative of her performance. She performed the procedure perfectly, I think. I had minimal swelling, pain lasted a day (the day of surgery), and she called to follow up. The stiches were the worst part; they were quite annoying in my mouth. So that says a lot, I think, of her work.
The only downside: EXPENSIVE. My procedure cost $3k. Insurance covered squat. She does charge more than average, I think (I checked with the Dr. Doriot surgeon's prices, in VA). I belive Dr. Lee's procedures cost an average of about $75 more than his prices (each procedure). If I had to do it over, I would have gone with him to save money.
So if you have the money, I would, w/NO reservations, recommend Dr. Lee for oral surgery. She was great.
