I’ve been in Dr.Kim office two times. The first time, I had a good experience. He was nice, fast and professional. The second time it was a huge disappointment. He tried to treat two patients in the same time. Dr. Kim gave me 3 shots of pain reliever and left me for around 30 minutes. I heard from another room, that he is treating a root canal for another patient. The nurse was running around like crazy. I couldn’t even stop her, to ask when Dr.Kim will come back. So, when he came back and started to drill my tooth, I felt pain, because anesthetic ceased to function already. He gave a forth shot and finished his job. When I rinsed my mouth, the nurse for some reason opened a little water tap and poured water on me. The rest of evening, I felt the numbness of the whole right side of my face and head. The next day in the morning, I experienced headache and dizziness. As well, I realized that he inaccurately polished the fillings on my teeth. The result of that is I can’t eat and I feel pain and discomfort in my jaw. On the first meeting, Dr.Kim told me that he is the best dentist. Well, Dr.Kim, if you say words like that, please, try to live up to it.

I first visited Dr. Kim about 10 years ago when, unfortunately, I lost a front tooth. Dr. Kim worked with me in restoring my smile and confidence. I would highly recommend him to family and friends.

I hate dentists, but I don't mind going to Dr. Kim - he is very kind, knowledgeable and pleasanr. I have had him do a few root canals along with regular dental care and I never had a rpblem with him. He is caring and his staff is also pleasant. I always recommend him to my friends.

He knows what he is doing but he was on the phone more with other paitences (for questions¬ emergancies) than he was with me ..I was constantly waiting for him on the dentist chair. His full attention was not on me.

excellent general experience. he does the cleaning himself, and does an overall excellent job.

I have gone to many dentists, and Dr. Kim is by far the best dentist in NYC. I have had several root canals and fillings replaced. The entire process was done to perfection (I had this done several years ago, and I haven't been there in awhile). He has a background in surgery from Columbia University, and he used to teach there. Consequently, I would highly recommend him. They will submit to your insurance for you.
