Dr. Nejad was very professional. I had my root canal done and I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I highly recommend him

I had wonderful experience with this office. Dr. Nejad is very professional and caring. I had a lot of fear from the dentist and his staff and himself make me feel very comfortable.

I had an alright experience with the doctor but the staff was highly disappointing and dysfunctional. The doctor seems to be encouraging his staff more than necessary and puts his staff before his customer and hence they are spoiled. The procedure and cost was not explained in detail and too many things were kept in dark. The transparency between patient doctor relation was just not there.I am highly disappointed in the service and will not recommend.

Dr Nejad was so caring and compassionate he really made me feel comfortable. His work is like no other dentist I have ever been to. His skill level seems way greater then just any ordinary dentist. He is also very good with making sure you are in little to no pain. I would highly recommend Dr. Abbas Nejad to anyone wanting an absolutely fabulous dentist.

Doctor is friendly with a good chair-side manner. Some insurance items are billed at a higher cost with the patient paying the difference. The doctor seems new to his practice; however, he's willing to work with you to make things right. Office staff is polite and friendly and make "reminder calls" the day before your appointment.

Dr. Nejad was polite and friendly, but I experienced a lot of pain during my cleaning and dental procedures (filling & crown). He tried to numb me three times and I still felt pain. I have never experienced this at another dentist. Usually I am numb right away and feel almost nothing. Also, my crown continues to bother me. It feels too high even though I had him take some off several times. It feels like my whole bite is off and sometimes it feels awkward to chew on that side of my mouth. Although Laveen Dental Care is close to my home, I do not know if I will return.

This review is due to his receptionist, not the dentist himself (who was rather good in his previous office, where the previous receptionist is). This receptionist will do everything she can to make you feel like a complete fool. She will argue with you about your insurance and tell you the complete opposite of what your insurance company tells you. She will argue just for the sake of arguing.

Dr. Nejad's office is very pleasant and modern when you enter. He utilizes modern digital X-ray equipment and PC technology. His office staff is friendly and personable and he is fairly personable himself. There are monitors at each chair and one in the lobby where he plays movies and screen saver type videos to pass the time. The issue arises in his patient time management. Each visit to his office, I've had to wait typically 25 to 30 minutes before getting a chair and then another 20 minutes or so before seeing the dentist. My wife waited 45 minutes her first visit before getting a chair and another 20 minutes before seeing the dentist for the first time. He only offers white resin fillings, with no other options, which my insurance doesn't cover very well (contributing to the cost rating). His treatment success I would have to give a poor rating. I had a filling come out a matter of weeks after having the tooth filled and the replacement is deteriorating rapidly. The above factors have caused me seek another dentist.
