Dr. Wu is awesome!!! He would not mind to spend time to explain all the details and show you the problems using X-rays and mouth videoing device. He also always carries a warm smile when explaining. He would plan the insurance budget with you together and contact the insurance company ahead of the time to make sure which procedures would get approved. The equipment is very up to date, and His staff are very likable and helpful.
So far I have done deep cleanings as well as extracting two of my wisdom teeth, and the latter did not hurt as much as i expected. I had sort of phobia before on seeing dentists, but Dr. Wu made it all go away, and I'm much more willing to have my teeth regularly examined and fixed.
After three years,I am very happy to finally find the most reliable dentist in San Mateo.

Very professional. The Dr. and staff were very friendly and kept me informed of the proceedings that were being performed. The work was completed in a very short time and I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Wu and staff are highly recommended

I found Dr. Wu when looking for a reasonably-priced dentist for my mom, and now our whole family sees him for our dental needs. Dr. Wu is very knowledgeable, and very patient. He thoroughly answers every one's questions, explains our options, and respects our decisions. He had just opened his own private practice beginning of this year, and were still part-time affiliated with a dental group at Stanford, so he was offering great deals. The fees were great value for someone with his skills and experience. The facilities are new and clean. For Mandarin-speaking patients, it's certainly a strong plus that he is bi-lingual. I highly recommend Dr. Wu.

Dr Wu is the most conscientious dentist ever. He is EXTRAORDINARILY skilled as well, and his education reflects this. He is also well published on many subjects.
He is so rare in that he seeks to educate his patents on the care of their teeth, and is extremely honest, doing work that you really need, not looking for extra fees, unlike so many other dentists here.
He is extremely gentle, and extraodinarily knowledgable about all aspects of dentistry, and explains in detail what you should know about your treatment and teeth in general, no matter how long it takes.
He is at the top of his profession educated in the very latest technology in dentistry. And best of all, he truly cares about the health and welfare of each of his patients. HE IS AMAZING! I would go to no other dentist....
About Hygienist: Linda is very gentle and thorough, and has a great manner.
