Dr. Craig Herre is good but outrageously expensive. Look around and you may find good doctors with reasonable fees.

Dr. Craig is not only personable and compassionate but he is one of the best trained doctors in the area. He is also very honest and will listen to what your needs are. The investment is worth while because you wont have to continue having your work redone over and over again.

I have know Dr. Herre for 20 plus years. He does an excellent job. His prices are high, but the results are great. My only concern is that the office closes during business hours for lunch. You cannot even get a message into the office during those hours. Also, you cannot talk to anyone on their day off - Friday. Seems that Dr. Herre is more concerned with staff issues than making it convenient for patients to get a message or issue to the office. Customer service is great as long as it coincides with when they want to do business.

Craig and his brother Scott are sons of William Herre that my parents began using for our family dentistry in the 60s. Bill's sons are continuing the outstanding dentisty of their father providing upmost skill and patient concern whether it be creating perfectly fitted partials, crown, repairs or just cleaning. After 40 years with the Herre family as my dentsit, I feel they are some of the best in the midwest, much less Kansas City. However, the practice has an odd billing practice in that they collect the full amount at the time of service and mail a check to the patient later for whatever amount the insurance covered. They do that so they don't have to wait for the insurance company to pay them. I personally don't like the practice, but put up with it.

Easy to to talk with. Very understanding when discussing your dental history and provides great feedback.

Dr. Craig and Dr. Scott Herre are wonderful. Not only do they perform excellent work, but they are concerned about their patients' health. They proceed as conservatively as possible in order to get you the best result. I have been going to them for years for routine cleanings, bonding and a crown. I live out of the area but still go to them - especially after having negative experiences with other dentists. I cannot praise them enough!
