Read Reviews for Dr. Martin Oberman
After having four cavities filled in one visit, two needed root canals because of drilling too deep. Of course he did not mention this was his fault (Or the fault of Dr. Liesner who did the cavities - Oh and just to mention, Dr. Liesner who works under Oberman has several malpractice cases on his license which I found after the fact). I had the root canals done at an endodontist and the crowns done with Oberman. One crown cracked while being placed so they re-did it. Second one lasted 1 week and cracked (Chuck of porcelin came off). Oberman's response was: "This is just the way it is going to be. There is nothing I will do. It will just crack again anyway." After paying full cost for this crown, I was very upset. Despite this, I went again for a check-up at which point Oberman said I needed another two crowns and bonding on two teeth. I went to UPenn Dental for a second opinion and was told that everything is GREAT in my mouth and they advised against working any of the teeth Oberman said needed work. The second opinion came from two professors at Penn Dental School. Hense, I have left this dentist running and will never return!
About Hygienist: Hygienist is great - She does an awesome job and is very friendly. Front Desk people are very very nice. Assistants to the dentist are rough and can be rude.

Martin Oberman is the best dentist I have ever had.
He treated me with excellent care and always gave detailed
explanations about treatment and options. This was during the time he had a clinic in New Jersey and I was saddened when he left the New Jersey clinic and I could no longer be treated by him. I have seen many dentists before and since and none have come close to his level of care. I have since moved back to Israel a few years ago, and still, Dr. Oberman remains in my mind the best dentist ever to have treated me.
