Read Reviews for Dr. Billy Lafever
Dr. LaFever is an excellent dentist. I have been going to him for years. Before I went to Dr. LaFever, I had avoided dentists for seven years. I have had many bad experiences with dentists. Dr. LaFever changed all of that for me. He doesn't mind when I question him, and he is happy to explain. He listens to me. I also take my son there. My son is 12 now, but since he was little, Dr. LaFever has allowed him to come with me to the office. I prefer Dr. LaFever over the "childrens' dentist' in the area. My son is not afraid of Dr. Lafever. I would recommend Dr. LaFever and his entire staff to anyone. Dr. LaFever has been taking great care of my teeth for years and he is doing a great job.
About Hygienist: I enjoy my relationship with the dental hygienist, she is nice, caring and takes her time to make sure your teeth are clean. I have been going there for years.

dr. lafever is a very nice individual but his secretaries and such in the front office even though they are nice they said they took my insurance (to me meaning that they were a provider of metlife at the time I went) but in fact they did not costing me quite a bit of money out of pocket for a root canal Ouch!!! and it hurt because my tooth wouldn't numb up OMG! but the price hurt even more. I would recommend Dr. Lafever but watch out for the pricing and make sure you make them understand what you mean when you ask that dreaded question... do you take my insurance?

Dr. LaFever is really great. His assitant Helen is also fabulous. It is very personal and they really look after your teeth. My whole family has gone there for years and I still drive in from Knoxville to see him.

Dr. LaFever is the BEST! I have never felt a needle. He must have made A's on injections in dental school. He constantly checks to see if you are in pain. Dr. LaFever and his staff are just nice people, friendly, and they care about you. Dr. LaFever will send you to a specialist for an extraction or a root canal, because he is overly cautious and wants you to have the best care. He is not the most expensive nor the cheapest dentist, but you get what you pay for. I have never had a proiblem with billing or insurance. I had an extraction (back when he did them), several fillings, two bridges, and several crowns.
