I am a current patient of this denist and I really like her. I feel comfortable asking questions and she seems to be quite the perfectionist. I never feel pushed into a treatment which is what has happened in the past. Also, she doesn't talk down to me or make me feel like I am a horrible person because I need a lot of dental work. I reccomend her 100%!

While my experience with Dr. Athari was a limited one, it was, nonethless, a very positive one too. You see, she had the distinction of being my 6 year old daughter's first dentist to fill a cavity of hers.
Anyone who has children that age knows the importance of their child's first dental work experience (other than an exam or cleaning, that is). The good doctor performed flawlessly, even causing my daughter to feel like she enjoyed the experience.
But what set her apart from the other dentists at All Care Family Dental on Durango was the fact that she was the only dentist who allowed a parent to be in the treatment room during the treatment. The other dentists wouldn't consider it, even if it made my daughter feel much more at ease and enjoy the experience.
I am sad to say, however, that after my daughter's second visit, the office notified me that Dr. Athari was no longer employed with them, and that their other dentists would not permt a parent to join my daughter in the treatment room.
Which is why I am now looking for another provider. Good luck, Dr. Athari, in your future endeavors. And thanks for giving my daughter a very positive first-time experience with a cavity.
