Great dentist.

Dr. Chan and her staff are amazing. I went to her looking for a second opinion as to whether I needed braces again (yes, again). She took the time to understand the situation to make an assessment after x-rays and visual examinations - which was I only needed some minor adjustments, but no braces. She explained her assessment to me and it made sense!
Her staff are also very friendly from the moment you step into the office, and really made you feel comfortable and explained each thing they are about to do, so you know what to expect.
I highly recommend this place!

I visited Dr. Chan for a consultation regarding tooth pain (so the ratings on cost (it was covered by insurance) and treatment success don't have a lot of meaning). Although I did not need treatment, in terms of the evalution he did and the information he provided me with, both were excellent. He was thorough in the evaluation and was careful to minimize my discomfort, and he clearly explained what he was doing and why. After the evaluation he explained at length the different options I had and the pros and cons of each, without trrying to bias me to a particular option. In the end, his recommendation was for a less invasive option that would be performed by my dentist, even though Dr. Chan did not stand to benefit financially from it.
Overall, I would highly recommend him and was very satisfied with the experience. In addition, this is clearly a minor detail, but the office environment is also very pleasant.
