Overall the doc was polite and fine but i found the office in general kept bugging me for things I didn't need or want (whitening, filling replacement). At my last visit, they were all ready to replace a whole side of my fillings.... without my permission, nor did they check if my insurance would cover it!!! they had a fictitious dollar amount on my chart displaying how much money I had left on my coverage but that was no way near reality. Had i let them do it, i'd be $1k in the hole! no, didn't like their office practices at all!!!
About Hygienist: all pleasant but still pushy (in a nice way) to get the stuff i didn't need or want. geez, just clean my teeth!

Dr. Plasch and his staff are always professional, courteous and helpful. I use this office as a benchmark for other providers of service; and others have a difficult time measuring up to the standards.
My family has been seeing Dr. Plasch for 14 years, always a positive experience and we trust the work he does and the staff he works with. From routine dental care to cosmetic work, we are always pleased, the payment process, insurance billing and the professionalism of the staff.
We recommend Dr. Plasch to family and friends and would recommend anyone looking for a dentist, whether near your home or work to check his services before checking any others. His office is neither near my home or work, but we drive to see him rather than visit an average dentist that may be closer.
My standards are high, one of my kids had multiple medical interventions as a child and I take seriously the providers of care I choose for myself and my family. I also work in a field where I evaluate businesses, their practices and how they operate. I make recommendations on how they can improve; it would be a pleasure to evaluate this office, as it is professionally operated from start to finish.

Voted best in the East Bay, Dr. Plasch's office lives up to its many praises. He offers a wealth of information on the website covering such topics as sedation dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and even general questions regarding dental health. His staff is extremely friendly and accomodating. This office is perfect for someone seeking a family-like or close-knit relationship among doctor, staff, and patients. He provides a thorough exam -- x-rays, cosmetic exam, oral cancer exam, general exam, and targets each individual's own dental concerns. There is a consultation which includes photographs of your teeth and an explanation of the various recommended services. All in all, a wonderful environment of knowledgeable and courteous staff, and a very personable dentist.
