Read Reviews for Dr. Gary Schmidt
I've had numerous fillings, crowns and teeth cleanings for the past 17 years. I have recommended Dr. Schmidt to friends and family due to the quality of his work and his humor.

DO NOT GO TO HIM. I went in for porcelain veneers. I did my homework and asked all the right questions. He assured me that he was a perfectionist. I had 2 very healthy front teeth, but wanted them covered because of discoloration. He assured me that he would get the color right and there would be hardly any drilling. After 5 appointments and months in between appointments. I have hardly any tooth structure left. I have seen 3 other dentists and they said they didn't understand why he drilled so much. He was careless and gave me a lot of pain. ANd I told him I was in pain and he told me "just a little bit more." If you love your teeth and don't like pain, don't go to him. I can't tell you how much I have cried over this.

Dr. Schmidt is very meticulous, patient, and gives a complete description of the procedure(s), pros/cons, and reasoning behind how he wants to proceed. Highly recommended. The best dentist I've ever been to with a anethesia needle - did not feel it at all.

Although it can be a bit of a wait to see the good doctor, in a non-emergency situation, he is well worth it. I have a long dental history and found Dr. Schmidt to be the best in the industry, as per my standards. Much can be said of "falling asleep" during the procedure!
There are fish tanks in full view when getting your teeth cleaned, the nicest hygienists, beautiful birds and foliage outside of the large windows, and the TVs built into the ceiling... ahhh, the rooms become very relaxed..
You'll find Dr. Schmidt to be a gentle spirit, very clear in describing what needs to be done, constantly checking up on you during a procedure, and his work is always done with great care ~ resulting in a job well done.
I do want to mention, Dr. Schmidt has a lab on premises, where crowns, bridges, etc. are created. When being fitted, it takes just a moment for him to adjust. A standard of practice I appreciate before a permanent crown goes on - you wear it around with temporary cement for approx. 2 weeks.
I believe the cost(s) associated with Dr. Schmidt's practice are moderate. I have had a PPO, where Dr. Schmidt was not in the network, and have paid more due to my choice to be out-of-network. It's been worth it!
