I have been his patient for 18+years. He is very caring about his patients. He puts your concerns first. Excellent at explaining your dental disease and what options are available to you. Staff friendly and do a great job at helping you understand your insurance. I strongly recommend him to everyone if you want excellent care at reasonable cost.

DON'T GO TO THIS GUY. I've seen him for cleanings, an emergency extraction, and fillings. He is after your money first and foremost... good care doesn't matter. After less than a year, fillings that he gave me had to be redone by another DDS because the work was shotty. Second, he tried to upsell me on services that were illogical - e.g., telling me I needed an (expensive!) advanced oral cancer screening because my drinking put me at elevated risk. #1 I noted on my form that I drank "on occasion," I never smoked and I was college aged. It made NO sense. #3 and worst of it all, I was in need of a bridge/implant and orthodontic work at the same time. IMy own research told me without a doubt that teeth should be in their final resting place before bridge work. So I should do ortho first, bridge second. He told me to do the opposite! That would have cost me SO much extra money and time in the long run. The only benefit to doing that was that he is licensed to do bridge work - he'd get my money before an ortho. Every dentist I've gone to since agrees that was a terrible recommendation. Bottom line: his work and bedside manner is awful and so is his treatment. Save your money and go somewhere else. He'll cost you more in the long run.

About Hygienist: I had the fastest and least thorough cleaning of my life here. Not saying the hygienist was terrible, I just didn't have the best experience. She was pretty nice though.

Root Canal. He did the wrong tooth and charged me over $$ and would not take any responsibility. Office manager was very rude.

First let me say I do not like the dentist office, but I was in so much pain. I went to see Dr. Gillikin for the first time with a tooth ache. He really helped me through the anxiety. Him and his assistant stayed late and completed a root canal on my tooth so I would not be in pain over the weekend. I trully never felt the shot. Since my experience I have scheduled my entire family.
