Dr. Troy is good with my kids and good with me too. Beyond that, I trust him. I always think Dentists are a bit like mechanics, apt to find things wrong even when all is well. Dr. Troy seems happy to find nothing that needs fixing. And he's a complete pro with a nice office and a good staff. One does need to make an appointment far in advance...

Dr. Lauritzen is the most calm, professional dentist I have ever been to, putting his patients at ease from the moment he walks into the room. My family has been going to Dr. Alan Swimmer and Dr. Mark Swimmer - and now Troy - for 3 generations, as they all share the same philosophies about caring for teeth. While some dentists will do whatever it takes to just get your teeth looking like a magazine ad - without any regard for the integrity and longevity of your teeth - Troy is more conservative and wants what is best for your teeth - which is rarely shaving them all down and replacing them with fake ones. Because teeth that have had a lot of work are more likely to chip, break and not match color-wise, he instead works with the teeth you've got, and in turn, doesn't propose $10,000 worth of needless dental work. Troy is definitely a dentist you will go to for a lifetime, because under his care you will have a great smile forever.
