i've had crowns and fillings and a root canal done with Bruce. He's an excellent dentist. fast, no nonsense, no upselling, just Bam, Boom gets in their and does it with utmost competence. Coates is another highly rated dentist in L.B. but he costs a lot more than Baral for the same level of service. highly recommended.

Dr. Barai was great. I went to him based on reviews on this website, and was really impressed. The appt. had to be scheduled a month in advance due to his active client list. He was courteous, took time to evaluate and make recommendations on my situation that were not motivated solely on how much $$ he could make. This concern and honesty places him high on my list of Long Beach dentists.

DR. BARAL IS EXTREMELY SKILLED AND USUALLY VERY AVAILABLE. I HAVE HAD EXPERIENCES WITH OTHER DENTAL OFFICES AND THEY ARE NOT VERY ACCOMODATING FOR EMERGENCIES. DR. BARAL IS EASILY REACHED.
I HAVE TRIED OTHER OFFICES DUE TO LOCATION BUT HAVE RETURNED TO DR. BARAL. I DRIVE 30 MINUTES TO SEE HIM.

I met Dr Baral 25 years ago when I was living in Long Beach , he did extensive work on me and to this day ihe is the only dentist I have faith in, and have followed up with him over the years. I live in Florida and am going to travel to California for him to continue to treat me. Top notch Dentist

I've been going to Dr. Baral for about 5 years and have always had a pleasant experience. I tried 3 other dentists in one year due to a move & Dr. Baral being a long drive for me and had 3 HORRIBLE experiences (West Coast Dental on Sepulveda SUCKS)! After my 3rd "new dentist" explained to me I needed over $1000 worth of work on my teeth (and I've NEVER had a problem w/my teeth), I went back to Dr. Baral who assured me that NONE of that recommended work was necessary. He's a VERY friendly, warm person...kind of reminds me of my dad :) The staff is so friendly, professional, and accomodating...I must've changed or cancelled appts dozens of times...they never make me feel like a schmuck for that :) I would drive 500 miles to keep Dr. Baral as my dentist for life. Hands down!!

I have always had good experiences at Dr. Baral's office. I love his staff and his personality is great! I especially like his bald head.

I visited Dr. Bruce Baral last April (2005), and it was one of the most pleasurable dental experiences I have ever had. He and his staff treated me with respect and courteousness. I had to have a root canal on a back molar, and his process and method of educating me beforehand was incredible! I am happy to have found Dr. Baral when I moved to Los Angeles, and I will be loyal to him for whatever future needs arise. No offense to Dr. Baral, but I hope I only have to see him every 6 months for my checkups! ;)

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Baral (almost a year) . In that time, my experience with him and his staff has been excellent. The front office staff is always pleasant on the phone; very helpful with my appointments. So far, I've been fortunate and not have any serious dental problems. Recently, a friend of mine, who was NOT a patient of Dr. Baral yet, had a broken tooth and was in severe pain. It was late in the day, almost closing time for Dr. Baral's office, yet my friend was told to come in and they'll see him as soon as they can. Dr. Baral did what he could that evening and referred my friend to an oral surgeon for the extraction. The front office staff worked quickly to get the insurance company to approve the surgery and my friend had his tooth taken cared of almost immediately. Dr. Baral and his staff earned my respect with how they handled my friend's dental emergency. Kudos.

Mr. Baral has been my dentist for over 20 years. My hygienest is excellent and the front office staff has always been friendly and helpful. The office is clean and convenient and their services have also been dependable through the years. I will say that I have had very few issues with my teeth, so I can't claim a lot of detailed procedures have been done, but what I have had done has been a positive experience. They offer but do not over-sell optional services (such as teeth-whitening, bonding). Most of the time I have not had dental insurance and they seem to try to be reasonable with their fees.
