I never knew how a good dentist was supposed to be until I went to Dr. Cocchi. His practice is located in suites near Long Beach Memorial Hospital. He performed a thorough examination of my teeth including a periodontal exam. I had never had such an exam and when I asked him, he suggested that this was standard practice and that most dentist should perform them. The truth is that many do not, because they are looking to make money on you. They don't want to prevent tooth lose, because they are trying to pad their pocket books.
Dr. Cocchi is completely different. He is thorough and very careful. If you are looking for a dentist, you have got to visit Dr. Cocchi. He is honest and fair. Plus, he is great with children. I saw a lot of kids going to see him on the days that I have visited. Because I have only gone here for less than a year, look for a follow up later.

Dr. Cocchi is honest and fair. He doesn't perform unnecessary work. He knows his stuff and is very good with pain management. He does not use gas, but I have found that I don't need it. He is very professional and helpful. Usually, the wait isn't too long.
About Hygienist: Very nice staff. Clean and knowledgeable.

This is a family atmosphere Dental office with helpful and pleasant staff.
Dr Cocchi is interested to take care of my dental needs, not to make money out me.
