I went to Dr. Fung w/a toothache. He said I needed a crown on a back molar. He drilled my tooth down and took impressions, put on a temp crown. By 1AM the following morning, I had a fever of 101, the skin from my chin to my ear was red and hot and the pain intense. Called him next morning, he was out but his office partner, Dr. Schmit saw me, said root left exposed. As Schimt looked over my tooth he was shaking his head. He tried to fix problem but said I'd probably need root canal at this point. Got root canal next day, took Vicodin and penicillin. Went back to Fung to get new crown on, crown broke when Fung put it in. Waited 2 weeks for another crown, Fung put it in but it's not right, sitting slightly crooked and too high. Seeing new dentist in a week to fix...needless to say, I WON'T SEE FUNG AGAIN and DO NOT recommend him!
Total dental work on this tooth so far has cost me over $1,000.
